Preference cookie

When you choose Accept or Reject optional on the banner, we store that choice in localStorage under the key vectorcloudcore_cookie_consent. The value is either accepted or rejected. It stays until you clear site data or we change the key. This storage is so the banner does not return every visit. It is not an advertising identifier.

Optional cookies

If you accept, we may enable a simple privacy-respecting measurement cookie in future to understand which programme pages are read. We do not currently set third-party advertising cookies. If you reject, optional measurement stays off. The site, including the contact form and navigation, continues to work.

Strictly necessary

The preference itself is the only storage we set for the banner. We do not use a theme switch and we do not store colour-scheme keys. Forms submit to a static response file and do not set a session cookie.

Third-party content

Pages load type from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash. Those services may receive your IP address as part of an ordinary request. They are not our cookie banner and are not controlled by the Accept / Reject choice. Avoid those pages if you do not want that technical transfer; most of our writing is still readable if images fail to load.

How to change your mind

Clear localStorage for vectorcloud-core.digital in your browser, or delete site data for this origin. The banner will appear again so you can choose. You can also write to brief@vectorcloud-core.digital if you want confirmation that we are not tying a banner choice to an engagement file — we are not.
