Warehouse management system audit
A floor-true reading of receiving, putaway, picking, and count logic — not a vendor scorecard.
We sit with your WMS as it actually runs: location masters, wave planning, scanner exceptions, and the workarounds your supervisors already know. You receive a written findings brief and a remediation order you can hand to operations or to the implementer.
What we open
Receiving and putaway rules against the physical slotting on the floor. Location master hygiene: duplicate bins, ghost coordinates, and zones that exist in the system but not in the building. Wave and batch logic versus the labour you actually roster. Cycle-count configuration, freeze flags, and how variances are closed. User roles that have drifted since go-live. Scanner and weigh-scale exception paths — short pick, damage, mis-label, and the ‘just override’ habit. If you claim halal segregation, temperature bands, or bonded storage, we check whether the application enforces those claims or only prints them on a label.
What you receive
A findings brief in plain language, ordered by operational risk. Each finding names the screen, job, or table we used, the floor behaviour we observed, and a recommended next action. We do not rewrite your WMS. We do not sell licences. If you want the implementer in the close-out, we can walk the brief with them in the same room.
Who this is for
3PLs, manufacturers with their own DC, and retailers running a WMS that has been live long enough for workarounds to settle. Typical sites sit in Selangor, around Port Klang, and in Penang. We work in English; floor interviews can include Bahasa Malaysia when your supervisors prefer it.
